Safeguarding & feedback

Dignity and safety come first.

The principles that guide participation, publishing and responsible engagement with C-SAM.

Our commitments

Safe participation and responsible publishing

C-SAM’s institutional principles include safeguarding, do-no-harm, inclusion and the safe participation of people with lived experience. People should be represented with agency, dignity and choice.

Stories and images

Publication should use informed, voluntary consent and consider risks beyond the immediate interview or event. This website does not publish identifiable images of children or identifying survivor accounts. Requests to remove a published image or identifying detail should be directed to the Secretariat.

Feedback and complaints

For a website correction, accessibility issue or general concern about C-SAM, contact ceo@oxdev.org. Identify the issue and request a suitable follow-up channel. Do not include detailed allegations or sensitive case information in an initial email.

Safeguarding concerns

The published contact address is a general Secretariat channel, not a dedicated confidential safeguarding service. Ask for the appropriate confidential reporting route before sharing identifying details. If your concern involves that channel or the Secretariat, request an independent route through an authorised Executive Council representative.

Immediate support

C-SAM does not operate an emergency response or direct case-management service. Consult Migration Support for official information and specialist starting points.
